
Our Mission
Over the past 100 years, the Attleboro Fire Department has been committed to preserving life and property. Since WWII, we have had the responsibility of Emergency Medical Services added to our mission. The Department is constantly addressing the demands of a changing community. In support of our emergency mission, the department is involved in numerous community-based projects. Juvenile Fire Setter, SAFE, CPR and other community programs are part
of our commitment. Our Fire Prevention Bureau is involved in a wide range of activities from code enforcement to fire safety in all areas of the city.

Company Profile
We at the Attleboro Fire Department provide fire, rescue and E.M.S services to the community. We house 2 ladders, 7 engines, 3 spare engines, 4 ambulances 2 ALS and 2 BLS, 2 brush vehicles, 1 hovercraft, and 5 department vehicles. Throughout the city there are 4 stations. Union Street (Headquarters), West Street (Newest Station), Briggs Corner (Smallest Station), and Twin Village (The Only Wooden Building).
